Spring officially kicks off in Tinley Park this Saturday 4/4/2026 as the Spring Equinox Market returns to Soundgrowler Brewing for an afternoon built around plants, local art, and a relaxed brewery atmosphere. The event runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 8201 183rd St., Suite P, and is free to attend and family friendly.

Curated by the Streetz Artz Alliance, this seasonal market continues to grow each year and now features 52 artists and vendors spread throughout the brewery and its outdoor beer garden. With a strong emphasis on plant culture, this year’s event includes more than 20 dedicated plant vendors offering everything from houseplants and succulents to seeds, propagation supplies, and plant care products. Whether you are a seasoned collector or just starting your first plant shelf, the variety is designed to meet people at every level.
The plant focus is complemented by the diverse mix that has become a signature of Streetz Artz Alliance events. Alongside greenery, guests will find handmade goods, plant-themed art, botanical jewelry, candles, woodworking, coffee, pickles, tarot readings, vinyl, and specialty food items. It is the kind of market where you might come for a plant and leave with a gift, a snack, and something completely unexpected.
Several plant-focused vendors bring unique approaches to the event. I Just Wet My Plants offers air plants, succulents, and propagated varieties grown in-house, while Sippin’ with Succulents creates an interactive experience where guests can build their own arrangements. Rosie’s Plant Care provides organic sprays that clean and protect plants naturally, and Plant Bar Chi continues its tradition of dressing up plants with decorative elements like crystals and minerals. Musing Scapes adds a creative edge with living terrariums and detailed dioramas, blending natural elements with artistic storytelling.

Other vendors highlight the crossover between plants and creative expression. Stargirl Designs transforms real flowers into resin jewelry and home decor, preserving botanical elements in wearable and functional art. The Daydreamers Shop offers floral-inspired home goods and will also be bringing seeds to the event, tying directly into the seasonal theme. Adara Selene Creations brings an eclectic mix of mediums including jewelry, fiber art, and plant decor, rooted in a deeply personal creative journey.
Beyond plants, the market features a strong lineup of makers and specialty vendors that round out the experience. From handcrafted goods and vintage finds to coffee from Gigawatt Coffee Roasters and bold flavors from FeFe’s Pickles and Peppers, the event maintains a wide range of offerings that appeal to both casual shoppers and dedicated collectors.
Soundgrowler Brewing adds another layer to the experience with its well-known tacos and craft beer, making it easy for guests to settle in, grab a drink, and take their time exploring the market. The brewery’s spacious layout and large parking lot help accommodate the growing attendance this event draws each year.

The event is scheduled rain or shine. In the case of unsafe weather such as high winds or storms, outdoor vendors will be moved inside into the brewery’s back-of-house space, an area regularly used for winter markets and previous weather adjustments. This flexibility allows the event to maintain its full lineup while prioritizing safety.
In addition to supporting local artists and small businesses, several vendors in the market also give back to charitable organizations. Participating artists support groups such as Best Buddies, Brave Space Alliance, the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, the Ekukhanyeni Relief Project, Fido’s Landing, Project Fire Buddies, the Veteran Business Project, the National Runaway Safeline, the Alzheimer’s Association, One Tail at a Time’s Pet Mutual Aid program, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and The Bloc Chicago. Honey Pots and Props also extends its impact by sponsoring plant therapy events for seniors and veterans, further connecting the plant community with wellness and outreach.
