Flurry Artisan Market Returns to Hailstorm Brewing This Sunday with 35+ Local Artists, Craft Beer and Summer Shopping

TINLEY PARK, Ill. — Looking for something different to do this weekend? The Flurry Artisan Market returns to Hailstorm Brewing Company on Sunday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., transforming one of Tinley Park's favorite breweries into a marketplace filled with local artists, handmade goods, great food and craft beer.

Admission is free, the event is family friendly, and patrons can explore more than 35 carefully curated artists and makers throughout nearly every corner of the brewery. Vendors will be located outside in the parking lot, throughout the beer garden, inside the taproom and in the brewery production area, creating an experience that encourages visitors to grab a drink and discover something new around every corner.

The Flurry Artisan Market has become one of Hailstorm Brewing's signature artisan events over the years. While the branding has evolved, the mission has remained the same: create a highly curated shopping experience where every artist brings something different to the table. That commitment to variety is one of the reasons patrons continue to return show after show.

This year's branding was designed by local artist Alex Kujawa, whose colorful artwork has become recognizable throughout the Streetz Artz Alliance. Kujawa won't just be featured on the event poster—she'll also be exhibiting her own original artwork, prints and books during Sunday's market.

Visitors will find far more than traditional arts and crafts. Food lovers can stock up on fresh spice blends, barbecue rubs, hot sauces, hot honey and maple syrup from Beaver Rub Spice Company, whose products are mixed in small batches using fresh ingredients. Grandma Dan's Bakery will be bringing homemade cookies, cake mixes and homemade vanilla, while Masterclass Savory Sweet Foods returns with roasted nuts, oversized cookies and its popular tequila cake. Fefe's Pickles and Peppers and KP's Candy Factory round out a lineup that makes it difficult to leave hungry.

Several participating artists also give back to the community. Beaver Rub Spice Company and Masterclass Savory Sweet Foods support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, while veteran-owned DK Custom Woodwork donates to Heart Haven Outreach and Restoration Ministries.

For those searching for one-of-a-kind gifts, the market offers an impressive range of handmade creations. D'Mood Kreationz creates handcrafted beaded jewelry for women, men, children and even pets, while Jen of Gratefully Dreaming transforms real plants, mushrooms, flowers and insects into nature-inspired copper jewelry that captures the beauty of the outdoors in wearable art.

Crochet enthusiasts will have plenty to discover as well. Penguino Productions creates handcrafted amigurumi and purses, while Dillydally Land specializes in whimsical, nostalgic and delightfully spooky crochet plushies inspired by horror, anime and pop culture. Cats, Crafts & Cooking will feature handmade coasters alongside crocheted cat beds and accessories.

Home décor shoppers can browse handcrafted wooden pieces from Crafted Laserworks, laser-cut shadow boxes from Crafty Creations and beautifully embroidered tote bags, pouches and home décor by Sew-Kerry Embroidered Creations. Jeanne Miller of L'inspiration du Soliel will also be bringing handcrafted crystal suncatchers, copper plant stakes and solar lights that add a little extra sparkle to any garden or home.

Book lovers won't be left out. Author Lourdes Suero Heiy will be signing her whimsical fiction while Daisy Brand Art brings something especially unique to the market with dual-language coloring books and photography postcards designed for artists and families alike.

Collectors and fantasy fans will find original illustrations from Jason Michael West, Robin Monique Rios Art and Accents by Rosey, along with the work of Scarab Sanctuary, whose handcrafted jewelry blends mythology, ancient symbolism and storytelling into wearable art. Wolf Den Gaming will showcase an impressive collection of gaming accessories including dice towers, dice trays, deck boxes, book nooks and other creations for tabletop gamers.

Those looking to relax can stop by Self Made Body & Soul, where Paula creates handcrafted soaps, scrubs, body butters, bath products, crystals and self-care collections inspired by years of experience and holistic wellness. Candle lovers will also enjoy browsing Wicked Fun Crafts, known for small-batch candles, wax melts and incense inspired by fantasy, books and pop culture, alongside Crow & Moon Enchantments' handcrafted candles and wax melts.

Even four-legged family members have something to look forward to. Tonie's Treats returns with brewery grain dog treats, homemade peanut butter, frozen dog-friendly ice cream and colorful handmade pet accessories.

Music lovers can flip through vinyl records at ROCZILLA Records while woodworkers, jewelry makers, watercolor artists, crystal vendors, macramé artists and many more complete one of the most diverse artisan lineups in the southwest suburbs.

The event is curated by Alissa Harris of the Streetz Artz Alliance, who oversees artist selection, event coordination and promotion while also participating as one of the artists behind Cats, Crafts & Cooking. The Streetz Artz Alliance partners with three of Tinley Park's four breweries and continues working to bring professionally curated artisan markets to communities throughout the Chicago suburbs.

Visitors can pair their shopping with Hailstorm Brewing's rotating selection of craft beers. As of this week, the brewery is featuring its limited-time Razzle Dazzle Shandy, a refreshing blend of American lager and raspberry lemonade. The Scratch Kitchen will also be serving its full menu throughout the event, making it easy to spend an afternoon enjoying lunch, local beer and shopping without ever leaving the brewery.

Looking ahead, Hailstorm Brewing's busy summer schedule continues after the market. The brewery hosts its annual Golf Outing on Sunday, August 2, featuring 18 holes at Odyssey Country Club followed by a buffet and beers back at the brewery. The popular Page Hoppers Book Club also returns on Monday, August 10, where members will discuss Dungeon Crawler Carl while enjoying Hailstorm's Monday beer flight specials.
