Beers, burgers and a bazaar return to Flipside Brewing in Tinley Park on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Flipside Bazaar is a free, indoor, all-ages event hosted by Streetz Artz Alliance, bringing together craft beer, a full kitchen and a curated lineup of 14 local artists and makers for an intimate — yet packed — shopping experience.

While smaller than some of the larger-scale markets produced by Streetz Artz Alliance, the Flipside Bazaar is intentionally curated to maximize variety and quality within a cozy setting. With 14 artists thoughtfully selected to complement one another, guests can take their time browsing handmade goods, talking directly with makers and discovering one-of-a-kind pieces they won’t find in big-box stores.

Handmade at the Core

At its heart, the Flipside Bazaar is about craftsmanship.

Nearly every item available on March 1 is handmade or hand-finished by the artist behind the table. From hand-poured resin dice and intricately sewn leather goods to small-batch bath products and original watercolor art, this event showcases the skill, time and passion poured into independent creative businesses.

Shoppers will find:

  • Original artwork and prints featuring folklore themes, glow-in-the-dark details, whimsical illustrations and pop-culture inspired designs from artists like Accents by Rosey, Art of Alex Kujawa and Jen Watson Art.

  • Handcrafted gaming accessories from Custom Dice by Alyssa, where resin dice are individually poured, polished and finished for tabletop enthusiasts.

  • Intuitive tarot readings by Ten Cups Tarot, offering personal, one-on-one experiences that blend art, symbolism and guidance.

  • Fiber and sewn goods including crochet plush, fidgets and functional handmade items from Mama Mick Crafts, Jen Watson Art and Mamo & Jo.

  • Silicone-beaded accessories and custom pieces from the Silicone Syndicate, blending durability with playful, modern design.

  • Handcrafted leather bags and practical goods, made in small batches with attention to durability and detail.

  • Natural self-care products such as goat’s milk soaps, bath salts and body sprays from With Love Products — thoughtfully created alternatives to mass-produced bath and body items.

  • Holistic pet treats and accessories from Bosco’s Marketplace, ensuring even four-legged family members benefit from small-batch care.

Even the sweets reflect the handmade spirit. Masterclass Savory Sweet Foods and the Great Sandeenie will offer cake tacos, cookie tacos, macarons, cake pops, chocolate-dipped treats and gourmet cookies — all crafted in small batches. Guests can also grab specialty coffee drinks, including the popular 11:11 Coffee blend, crafted with the same small-business mindset.

Every purchase directly supports a family, a side-hustle turned dream, or a full-time creative entrepreneur investing back into the local economy.

Supporting Small Businesses — Including the Brewery

Streetz Artz Alliance believes that breweries are artists in their own right. Craft beer is a creative process — from recipe development to branding and community-building. By hosting events like the Flipside Bazaar, Flipside Brewing opens its doors to fellow makers and strengthens the local small-business ecosystem.

Guests can sip craft beer brewed on-site while enjoying smash burgers, wings and salads from the full kitchen. March 1 also marks the debut of Flipside’s March Burger of the Month. Owner Erik Pizer will feature the Reuben Burger — a smash burger layered with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing — a flavorful nod to the upcoming Tinley Irish Parade celebrations the following weekend.

From ordering a locally brewed pint to grabbing a table with friends, every dollar spent that day circulates within the community — supporting not just artists, but a locally owned brewery that invests in hosting creative events.

Community Impact Beyond the Market

Several participating artists extend their impact beyond their booths by donating portions of sales or supporting charitable initiatives. Causes connected to this event include:

  • St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

  • Feed My Starving Children

  • Howard Brown Health

  • The Trevor Project

  • National Black Justice Coalition

  • Wreaths Across America

  • Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights

  • The Headstrong Project

  • League of Enchantment Chicago

Additional grassroots and local initiatives supported by participating vendors include the Ekukhanyeni Relief Project, CFVC for Veterans through Bosco’s Marketplace and the Lincoln-Way Foundation.

Through their craft and community engagement, these small businesses extend their impact well beyond the marketplace — reinforcing the Streetz Artz Alliance commitment to giving back while building sustainable opportunities for independent creators.

An Intimate but Packed Experience

Held inside Flipside Brewing at 7144 W. 183rd St., the bazaar takes place in the back area of the brewery, creating a lively but relaxed Sunday atmosphere. With a large parking lot, easy access and a welcoming space, it’s ideal for families, craft beer enthusiasts and dedicated shop-local supporters alike.

“I recommend getting there early to secure a spot at the bar or a table,” said John Streetz, organizer and head of Streetz Artz Alliance. “But don’t worry about stopping in throughout the day. There are plenty of options to grab a beer and shop while you wait. We’re excited to be back at Flipside to host this bazaar.”

Smaller in footprint but rich in variety, the Flipside Bazaar proves that you don’t need hundreds of vendors to create meaningful impact. Fourteen carefully selected artists. One locally owned brewery. Countless opportunities to support handmade.

Mark your calendar for Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come hungry, come thirsty and come ready to shop small.
