Collectors know that the thrill isn't just about finding something rare—it's about the hunt. Whether it's discovering a first-print comic book, uncovering a long-sought vinyl record, completing a trading card deck, or meeting the artist behind a favorite illustration, every collection has a story.
That passion for collecting returns to Naperville on Saturday, August 1, as the second annual Comics, Cards & Vinyl Market takes over Noon Whistle Brewing, 1748 W. Jefferson Ave., from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Presented by Streetz Artz Alliance, the free, family-friendly event brings together comic books, vinyl records, trading cards, original artwork, action figures, gaming accessories, handcrafted goods, and pop culture collectibles from artists and specialty vendors across northern Illinois and northwest Indiana.
Rather than focusing on a single hobby, the event celebrates the entire collector community. Comic enthusiasts can browse books and original artwork from local illustrators and independent creators. Vinyl fans can spend the afternoon digging through thousands of records spanning rock, metal, jazz, blues, hip-hop, and more. Trading card collectors will find Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, CookieRun: Braverse, gaming accessories, handcrafted resin dice, and tabletop gaming supplies alongside unique collectibles and one-of-a-kind artwork.

"Our goal has always been to create an experience where people can slow down, explore, and enjoy the hobbies they love," said John Streetz, curator of Streetz Artz Alliance. "Whether someone walks in looking for a rare comic, a favorite album, a new Commander deck, or simply wants to discover a local artist, there's something waiting to be found."
Beyond the collectibles, the event encourages visitors to make an afternoon of it. Noon Whistle Brewing will be serving its award-winning craft beer, including its newest Huckleberry Wheat, while guests can also enjoy the brewery's Botanical Bar. New this year, Taquiza Los Toxicos will be serving authentic street tacos on the brewery patio from noon until 4:00 p.m., giving visitors another reason to stay, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere between shopping and collecting.

More than two dozen artists, collectors, and specialty vendors will participate, creating a carefully curated mix of comics, vinyl, trading cards, artwork, collectibles, handcrafted goods, and food. Whether you're a lifelong collector, introducing a child to their first comic book, or simply looking for a unique way to spend a Saturday afternoon, the Comics, Cards & Vinyl Market offers something for every generation.
