Get ready to Rock & Revel at Thornton’s most unique summer market experience!

Join us on Saturday, July 12 from 11am to 5pm for the very first Rock & Revel Market at the Quarry , hosted at the historic Quarry Ballroom in Thornton, IL. This all-ages, free-to-attend event brings together an eclectic mix of over 30 local artists, makers, authors, tarot readers, and creatives—sprawled across the main ballroom, an outdoor vendor space, and the venue’s downstairs speakeasy.

Yes, you read that right. There’s a speakeasy—and it’s full of artists.

This one-of-a-kind market is curated by the Streetz Artz Alliance, known for handpicking bold and original talent. Whether you’re into handmade goods, offbeat art, small-batch foods, candles, pottery, prints, vintage, or the wonderfully weird—you’ll find something you love here.

The Quarry features a full bar and food menu, including pizza, wings, burgers, and cocktails (yes, there’s Malört). They also serve craft beer from some of Chicagoland’s best breweries.

Important notes: The downstairs speakeasy is accessible only via outdoor stairs—there is no elevator. Parking is available in the nearby lot, across the street from the bar, and throughout the surrounding residential area.

Something special is brewing in Tinley Park next Sunday, July 13—and it’s not just the beer.

The Flurry Artisan Market returns to Hailstorm Brewing from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., bringing over 30 incredible local artists to fill the brewery’s taproom, patio, and brewery floor. Whether you’re hunting for handmade jewelry, ghostie sculptures, gourmet pickles, custom woodwork, fresh sourdough, or just something fun and unexpected—you’ll find it here.

This isn’t your average market. Curated by Streetz Artz Alliance, the lineup includes fan favorites and first-time vendors offering everything from vintage finds and apparel to soaps, candles, and even horror novels. Plus, many of these artists are donating a portion of their proceeds to charities like St. Jude, Best Buddies, the Trevor Project, PAWS, NPR, and more.

Come early for Hailstorm’s famous brunch waffles (Waffle Sliders are the July special!) and cool off with a beer slushie, Blueberry Shandy, or a beermosa. Brunch runs from 10 to 2, and the regular food menu is available after 2pm.

Free to attend, all ages welcome, and totally family friendly. You don’t want to miss this one.

The Soundgrowler Pet Market is back on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 12 PM to 5 PM at Soundgrowler Brewing Co., located at 8201 183rd St Suite P, Tinley Park, IL. The event is free to attend and all ages are welcome.

Get ready for a fun, pet-friendly day filled with local art, handmade goods, and great treats for both humans and their pets.

Last year we had dog treats, toys, bandanas, handmade jewelry, custom pet portraits, cookies, pickles, original artwork, and more.

This year, we're planning to have even more. Vendors will be set up both inside and outside, with a wide variety of gifts and goodies.

There will be over 100 artisan and craft vendors, live local music, great food and drinks from nearby pubs, a flower market, and fun activities for kids. It’s the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend—bring Mom to the fest and pick up the perfect handmade gift!

Flurry Artisan Market is live today inside Hailstorm Brewing in Tinley Park. We’ve moved the entire event indoors due to rain, so you can browse, shop, and sip in comfort.

The market runs from 11am to 5pm and features more than 30 artists and makers offering everything from original art and jewelry to handmade soap, wood decor, embroidery, 3D-printed creatures, and vintage-inspired creations. It’s a great chance to shop for Mom or treat yourself to something spring-themed and special.

Brunch runs 10am to 2pm and features a tiramisu waffle special. The Ancestral Oven is here selling their small-batch sourdough bread, and Teagan is offering tarot readings throughout the day.

No admission fee. All ages welcome. Bring your friends, grab a drink, and support small businesses this Sunday.
