The Sweetest Night Prism Market Brings Handmade Art, Craft Beer & Autumn Fun to Maplewood Public House
Saturday, October 17, 2026 | 5–9 PM | Glen Ellyn, Illinois

Looking for something a little different to do on a Saturday evening? We have a sweet plan for you!
The Streetz Artz Alliance is bringing The Sweetest Night Prism Market to Maplewood Public House in Glen Ellyn on Saturday, October 17, from 5–9 PM. This free, family-friendly outdoor market will bring together more than 18 local artists, makers, and small businesses for an evening of handmade creations, craft beer, autumn shopping, and a little Halloween magic.
Located at 486 Pennsylvania Avenue, Maplewood Public House provides a welcoming place to gather, enjoy a beverage, discover something new, and spend time with friends and family. We are excited to bring another thoughtfully curated market to this Glen Ellyn destination as the leaves change and the Halloween season gets underway.
Handmade Is the Heart of This Market
What makes a Streetz Artz Alliance market different? Curation matters.
Left to Right: Rambling Rose Designs, Dye the Day Away And Melanie Klegerman Fersko
We work to bring together artists and small businesses offering a variety of products, keeping the selection interesting and giving patrons plenty of reasons to explore. Our goal is to connect talented local creators with people who appreciate handmade work, original art, unusual finds, and products made by someone who genuinely cares about what they create.
At The Sweetest Night Prism Market, you can expect original artwork, pottery, permanent jewelry, handmade accessories, candles, stained glass, woodworking, crochet, apparel, baked treats, books, collectibles, seasonal decorations, and plenty more.
First-time Streetz Artz Alliance participants will be joining returning favorites, making this an opportunity to discover new businesses alongside familiar faces.
Among the artists to look for is Pigeon Brain Studios LLC, bringing thrown and hand-built pottery designed to add color and personality to everyday life. From mugs and bowls to magnetic vases, plant pots, and trinket dishes, these are the kinds of functional pieces that can make an ordinary day a little more interesting.
Jenna Bansbach of one37 will make her Streetz Artz Alliance debut at Maplewood Public House. Her wheel-thrown pottery draws inspiration from the natural world, with carved botanical details, earthy textures, and soft blue-green colors. Look for her seasonal pumpkin and jack-o'-lantern luminaries, along with pottery and clay jewelry.
Growing Panes Collective is another exciting addition to the Maplewood lineup, bringing together rare and unusual houseplants with handcrafted stained-glass pieces. If you enjoy greenery, color, and creative ways to brighten your home, this is a stop worth making.
Sweet Kiri, a sister-run accessories brand making its Streetz Artz Alliance debut, will offer handcrafted beaded bag charms, keychains, phone charms, and wristlet charms. Their playful designs draw inspiration from the styling and design cultures of Seoul and Tokyo, with a mix of colors, textures, and details for personalizing everyday accessories.
For autumn and Halloween shoppers, Gypsy Rabbit Designs will bring laser-cut and engraved artwork, slate coasters, serving boards, and 3D-printed designs inspired by seasonal themes, fantasy, science fiction, and pop culture.
And because no good autumn outing should be without a little something sweet, Kookies By Michelle will offer scratch-made bakery treats, including cookies, cinnamon rolls, brownies, and seasonal goodies.

These are just a few of the creators joining us. You'll also find everything from nature-inspired jewelry by Ramblin' Rose Designs to whimsical crocheted creations from The Plush Paw, upcycled beer-can candles from Special K's BeerCandles, original art and stickers from KEEBS Designs, and gourmet products from Wanna Pickle Gourmet Foods LLC.
Whether you're shopping for a gift, decorating for fall, adding something handmade to your collection, or simply browsing for the fun of it, there will be plenty to discover.
A Little Prism Magic, a Lot of Community
The Prism name and visual identity have become part of our Maplewood Public House events, thanks in part to the beautiful branding created by Alex Kujawa of Art by Alex Kujawa. Although Alex will not be exhibiting at this particular market, Alex has designed the imagery used across our Prism events at this location, helping create a recognizable look and feel throughout the series.

Alex has also created poster and branding designs for other Streetz Artz Alliance events, including markets at More Brewing in Villa Park and Black Horizon Brewing in Willowbrook.
We've experimented with different themes at Maplewood this year, including Pride, Cats & Summer, and Flannel, Music & Virgos. Our first market at Maplewood was a Pride-themed evening event, and it seemed fitting to bring things around to another evening market as we approach the end of our 2026 lineup at this location.
Of course, we never rule out the possibility of adding a holiday market later in the year if the weather cooperates!
As John E. Streetz, head of the Streetz Artz Alliance and curator for this event, explains through the organization's approach, the purpose is to bring local artists and patrons together in a way that benefits everyone involved. Artists get opportunities to showcase their work, breweries connect with new and returning customers, and the community gets a welcoming place to shop locally and spend time together.
Every purchase from an independent maker helps support someone's creative work and small business. That is a big part of why we do what we do.
Maplewood Has Something Brewing
Naturally, shopping is only part of the experience. Maplewood Public House will have plenty to offer patrons looking to enjoy a fall evening with a drink in hand.
According to Dana Gibbons, executive bar manager at Maplewood Public House, the current draft lineup includes In Dark Trees, a Czech-style dark lager with lightly roasted malt and spicy Czech hops, and the return of Brownie Points on nitro, an American brown ale with chocolate, toffee, and vanilla notes.
Friday brings Half Acre Pine Bolt, a West Coast IPA featuring Chinook, Cascade, Citra, and Centennial hops. On Saturday, Fresh Hop Comet IPA returns, with fresh hops bringing grapefruit, tropical citrus, stone-fruit, and floral notes to the glass.
Maplewood is also offering a $7 can special on its 5mg Dros for dine-in customers, along with a buy-one-get-one offer on four-packs. Check with the brewery for applicable details.
Our recommendation? Give yourself time to browse the market, explore the brewery's food and drink offerings, and take another lap through the artists before heading home. An evening market gives everyone a chance to slow down, revisit a booth, and discover something they might have missed the first time around.
