Willowbrook, IL – On Saturday, April 12, Black Horizon Brewing in Willowbrook will host a new Spring Makers Market in partnership with Streetz Artz Alliance. The event runs from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the brewery, located at 7560 S Quincy Street. Admission is free, and the event is family-friendly.
This market will feature seventeen local artists and makers, a special food pop-up, and two unique seasonal beers, including an exclusive small-batch keg release. Visitors can browse a range of handmade items, including original artwork, jewelry, custom woodwork, plant arrangements, pet products, personal care items, tie-dye apparel, and baked goods.
Black Horizon Brewing, a small-batch brewery known for its award-winning beers and community partnerships, is working again with Streetz Artz Alliance to present this market. Alex Stankus, co-founder of Black Horizon, said the brewery is excited to collaborate with Streetz Artz Alliance and support a strong lineup of local creators.
The event will also include the following food and drink offerings:
Tacos Las Manitas, a woman-owned taco business based in Chicagoland, will be on-site serving handmade tacos from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Old Fashioned Walk the Plank, an exclusive one-off keg, will be tapped for the event. It is an Imperial Red Ale infused with bitters, orange, and brown sugar, offering a cocktail-inspired flavor.
Dune Shaper, the brewery’s newest seasonal release, will also be available. This golden ale is aged on blueberries and is described as light, fruity, and reminiscent of Lake Michigan summers.

New or notable additions to the artist lineup include:
Planted and Unstable, making their debut at Black Horizon, will bring an assortment of plants, handmade goods, vintage items, and plant-themed décor.
Treats By William – Made With a Pinch of Love, LLC, a business focused on preservative-free pet treats, will offer seasonal dog treats, handmade pet accessories, and their private-label coffee. The business supports job skills training for individuals in the autism and special needs community.
Returning vendors include:
Scents of Time returns with bestselling seasonal candles (and a sense of humor—they promise no “Air of Imagination” scent after a cheeky April Fools post).
Art of Alex Kujawa will showcase all-new glow-in-the-dark framed prints, including her popular moon kittens and more. Kujawa is a fan favorite and brings fresh work to every event.
Dye the Day Away will feature their latest tie-dye creations, from dresses to undies. Owner Melissa Hamilton notes, “Colors and designs are meticulously selected and handcrafted, yielding bold styles alongside more understated options.”
