This Sunday, the Streetz Artz Alliance returns to the taproom at Tighthead Brewing Company with the highly anticipated return of Tighthead’s Spring Bazaar—an event that quickly became a local favorite. Running from 12 PM to 5 PM, this free, family-friendly indoor market invites the community to enjoy an afternoon of craft beer, local shopping, and great food all under one roof. Tighthead will be pouring its signature craft beers alongside non-alcoholic options, while Pizzeria Deville will be on-site serving up fresh pizza starting at noon.

Featuring over two dozen artists and vendors—many from Mundelein and surrounding communities—the Spring Bazaar delivers a thoughtfully curated mix of handmade goods, vintage finds, and unique services. Rain or shine, guests can explore the spacious indoor event area (complete with additional seating and restrooms), while also taking advantage of the brewery’s patio if the spring weather cooperates. With temperatures in the low 70s, it’s shaping up to be a perfect day to sip, shop, and stay awhile.
Local talent shines through with A Smalltown Baroness, a Mundelein-based artist whose work reflects both creativity and a strong sense of community. Drawing inspiration from small-town charm and personal expression, her offerings bring a distinctive and approachable style. Supporting artists like her gives this event a true hometown feel—connecting patrons directly with the people behind the work.
“With nearly half of our vendors being new to this event, I’m excited for guests to discover a whole new mix of talent,” said John Streetz, organizer and founder of the Streetz Artz Alliance. “We take pride in curating events that feel fresh, engaging, and worth coming out for, and Tighthead has been an incredible partner in making that happen.”

Artists making their Spring Bazaar debut include A Smalltown Baroness, Angelic Celestial Whispers, Avijo Design, Blacky Cat Creations, Ghost Owl Studio, Kings Woods, KS 3D Prints, Libra Rising By Yoali, Mamo and Jo, Melanie Klegerman Fersko – Artist and Author, Memento Moira, Pigeon Brain Studios LLC, Robin Monique Rios Art, The Record Den, and Ursula Naturals—bringing a wave of new energy and variety to this year’s event.
The Spring Bazaar showcases an exceptional mix of creativity and craftsmanship, offering everything from art and home décor to wellness products, fashion, and interactive experiences. This is not your typical market—it's an opportunity to meet makers face-to-face, hear their stories, and discover items you simply won’t find anywhere else.
Among the standout experiences is Spotted Elephant Ink, where guests can enjoy intricate henna tattoos alongside intuitive tarot readings—blending visual artistry with personal insight for a truly memorable experience. Nature lovers will be drawn to The Leaf Lady, whose stunning cement leaf castings transform real foliage into functional art like bird baths and garden décor. Sweet U Candles brings warmth and atmosphere with handcrafted soy candles, wax melts, and room sprays designed to elevate any space. Sew-Kerry Embroidered Creations offers beautifully detailed, functional textile goods, from tote bags to zipper pouches, each stitched with care and personality.

Beyond these highlights, attendees will find an incredible variety of vendors offering handmade jewelry, baked goods, original artwork, apparel, vintage items, coffee, and more. Whether you’re hunting for the perfect gift or just looking to treat yourself, there’s something here for everyone.
Adding to the experience, Pizzeria Deville will be popping up onsite, serving fresh pizza and bringing their signature community-focused vibe to the event. Known for their welcoming atmosphere and quality food, their presence perfectly complements the spirit of the Bazaar: local, collaborative, and full of flavor.

At its core, the Streetz Artz Alliance is about supporting small businesses and building community. Every purchase made at the Spring Bazaar directly supports independent artists, local food vendors, and the brewery itself. These events are designed to be accessible to all—always free to attend—so that visitors can spend their time and money where it matters most: supporting local.
A special shoutout goes to Unique Creations by Rachel, a dedicated artist who has been a consistent presence at Streetz Artz Alliance events over the past two years. Her continued support, creativity, and commitment make her a valued part of this growing community, and a perfect example of the artists who help make these events so special.
